I forgot my password.
Tap Sign in, then Forgot
password?. Enter your email and we'll send a reset
link. Open it on your iPhone, choose a new password, and
you're back in. If the email doesn't arrive within a few
minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.
How do I sign in with Apple?
On the sign-in screen, tap Sign in with Apple.
iOS will show a sheet asking whether to share your name and
email with Momentum — choose either to share your real
address or to use a private relay (Apple forwards mail to
your real inbox without showing it to us). Confirm with
Face ID or Touch ID and you're in.
How do I delete my account?
Open Momentum → Profile tab → scroll to the
bottom → Delete account. Confirm "Delete
forever" in the prompt. Your goals, streaks, logs, reactions,
and group memberships are all permanently removed. The
action cannot be undone.

I'm not getting notifications.
First, make sure Momentum is allowed to send notifications:
iOS Settings → Notifications → Momentum → Allow Notifications
is on. Then in the app, open Profile →
Manage notifications. There are separate
toggles for the Sunday goal reminder, reactions on your
activity, and join requests — turning a category off here
will silence it even if the system-level toggle is on.
If everything looks right and notifications still aren't coming, restart the app or your iPhone — that re-registers with Apple's notification system.

How do I block or report someone in my group?
On the group page or the Calendar tab, long-press
their name or row. A small menu appears with
Block and Report options.
Block hides their activity from your feed. Report sends us a
moderation flag and blocks them at the same time — we review
every report and remove bad actors within 24 hours.

My streak reset and I don't think it should have.
Streaks count uninterrupted weeks where the goal hit
its target. If a week ended (Sunday at midnight your time)
without the goal hitting its target, the streak resets to
zero the following Monday. There's no "rest week" or
"freeze" — we kept it simple on purpose.

Can I export my data?

from the address you signed up with and we'll send you a
copy of your goals, logs, reactions, and group memberships
within 30 days.
What iPhone / iOS do I need?
Momentum requires iOS 17 or later. Any
iPhone that runs iOS 17 will work — iPhone XS / 11 / 12 and
newer. There's no iPad-specific layout yet, but the app runs
on iPad in iPhone-sized mode.
Does Momentum cost anything?
No. Momentum is free with no in-app purchases, no ads, and
no paid tier. See our privacy
